Georges P. Vanier is a dynamic community of Middle School learners. Please join us to learn about our school and to meet our administration and some of our teaching team.
About Us
Here at Georges P. Vanier, we are home to numerous programs: Community Regular English, Early French Immersion program, Late French Immersion, Learning and Literacy (L&L) program. Although we have many diverse programs at Georges P. Vanier, we strive to be a community school where regardless of programming, background or neighbourhood we are all members of the same school community, and we are strong as a whole because of this.
Entrance Requirements
There is no requirement for students to have prior knowledge of French for entry into the Late French Immersion program in grade 7.
The Open House will:
- Provide more information about our school as a whole and the programs we offer:
- Review the registration process.
- Introduce you to key staff members.
- Support you with the transition to Middle School.
- Have students sharing their experiences at our school and specific programs.
Our Open House will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
