Dear Lynx families/Chères familles Lynx,

A tremendous congratulations to our Wrestling Team who had an outstanding result at the Divisionals this past Tuesday. We had many 1st place finishes, as well as 2nd and 3rd place. The tenacity and passion displayed by our athletes was formidable. Thank you to our Head coach Mr. Cheng for organizing a successful season. Thank you to Dr. Douma and Ms. Brotherson for their coaching support. A big thanks to Coach Rando, our parent coach, who helped our athletes and coaches compete well. Bravo tout le monde!

Thank you to our spectators who came out to cheer on our volleyball teams this week. We had a very successful start to the season! The respectful behaviours by all were appreciated and noted by the visiting teams. Merci! Go Lynx Go!

I hope that parents have had a chance t look over their child(ren)’s report card.  These are available online, via the MyCBE website. We will be holding our parent/teacher conferences on March 21 and 22.  More information will come closer to the date. 

With the change of semester, many students will also be starting new Option Courses. For students who would like to switch this course, forms will be available at the office on February 7.  Students need to fill these out and have these signed by a parent/guardian before returning them.  We will do our best to accommodate all requests, however, due to numerous factors this is not always possible. They due by February 14 at 4:00pm.

We would like to welcome Ms. Janice Richardson who will be the Acting Assistant Principal while Mr. Edmonds is off. Bienvenue!

Library Books Are DUE!

Any students with overdue library items are not to be taking any further books out of the library. Overdue lists will be coming out soon. Ask your child if they have any books that need returning.

Yearbooks

Our 2023-2024 Yearbooks are now available for pre-order. The cost of a yearbook is $30 each and will soon be available as an optional fee in MyCBE. In the meantime, students can go to the office to sign-up to have the fee added to their account and claim a yearbook in advance. This year, we are aiming for a spring delivery so students will be able to have their yearbooks signed by classmates and teachers prior to leaving for the summer!
