Dear Lynx families/Chères familles Lynx,

I wanted to start this message with a congratulations to our volleyball teams, boys and girls, for successful seasons.  Best of luck to our Jr. Girls' team as they play for the division title on Tuesday.  The final game will be Tuesday at 5pm.

Secondly, thanks to Mme. Shah and Ms. Richardson who took a group of 15 girls to the University of Calgary.  The girls were very engaged and are planning on sharing some of their learning on math and magic card tricks with students back at Vanier.

A reminder to families that our parent-teacher conferences our next Thursday and Friday and they will be online.  There is more information below on how to sign up.

Due to the ongoing labour action, badminton season has been postponed.  This means that schools will not be holding tryouts until the labour action is resolved.  If I hear an update, I will pass that along to families.

Finally, next week is Semaine de la Francophonie.  We have numerous activities going on during lunch hour, all of which will be bilingual, and I encourage all students to participate.

Bonne fin de semaine,

Mr. Chad Edmonds – Principal Georges P Vanier School
